Heated Minds 2020
10 years after the show Heated Minds, staged in 2010, documenting the events of June 13-15, 1990, Heated Minds 2020 investigates the health system in Romania, from the perspective of public-private relations, focusing on the current health crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2. The show analyzes the causes of the vulnerability of the medical system: the dismantling of public services and the effects of the destruction of the welfare state, the dangers of austerity measures and privatization.
Heated Minds 2020 is a performance about the painful consequences of choosing profit and the logic of economic efficiency at all costs over public interest and social medicine.
