\u00cen secolul XX, \u00een spa\u021biul occidental, revolu\u021bia feminist\u0103 \u0219i cea sexual\u0103 au deschis drumul mi\u0219c\u0103rii de eliberare a minorit\u0103\u021bilor sexuale \u015fi de gen. Pozi\u021bia femeii, sexualitatea, identitatea de gen \u0219i orientarea sexual\u0103 sunt re-evaluate \u0219i re-definite din perspective noi, emancipatoare. At\u00e2t \u00een cadrul mi\u0219c\u0103rilor feministe, c\u00e2t \u0219i al celor pentru drepturile LGBT, se dezvolt\u0103 pozi\u021bii radicale de st\u00e2nga, intersec\u021bionale, care caut\u0103 s\u0103 conecteze lupta pentru drepturile femeilor \u0219i minorit\u0103\u021bilor sexuale \u0219i de gen cu pozi\u021biile anti-rasiste \u0219i anti-capitaliste.<\/p>\n

\u00cen spa\u021biul rom\u00e2nesc, idei feministe apar \u00eenc\u0103 din secolul XIX, dar, \u00een absen\u021ba unei mi\u0219c\u0103ri feministe puternice \u0219i radicale, pozi\u021bia femeii \u00een societate r\u0103m\u00e2ne, inclusiv \u00een perioada post-1989, normat\u0103 violent de structurile patriarhale. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp, afirmarea comunit\u0103\u021bilor LGBT <\/i>este \u00eenc\u0103 la \u00eenceput, \u00eentr-o form\u0103 de coagulare a unor identit\u0103\u021bi \u0219i, totodat\u0103, de rezisten\u021b\u0103 \u00eempotriva multiplelor forme de opresiune \u0219i excludere, \u00een contextul \u00een care homosexualitatea a fost decriminalizat\u0103 abia \u00een anul 2001.<\/p>\n

\u00cen mare parte, scena cultural-artistic\u0103 actual\u0103 reproduce \u00een micro discursurile\u00a0mainstream<\/i> din societate despre gen \u0219i sexualitate, iar reprezent\u0103rile r\u0103m\u00e2n, de cele mai multe ori, ancorate \u00eentr-o realitate sexist\u0103 \u0219i heteronormativ\u0103.<\/p>\n

Num\u0103rul 6 al Gazetei de Art\u0103 Politic\u0103<\/b> investigheaz\u0103 proiecte artistice \u0219i discursuri teoretice despre pozi\u021bia femeii, despre sexualitatea gay \u0219i despre identitatea de gen, analizate \u00eentr-o cheie queer <\/i>feminist\u0103, revendicat\u0103 din sfera g\u00e2ndirii de st\u00e2nga. Accentul acestui num\u0103r este pus pe spa\u0163iul rom\u00e2nesc, unde scena artistic\u0103 feminist\u0103 \u0219i queer<\/i> \u00eencepe s\u0103 prind\u0103 treptat contur.<\/p>\n

F\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103-\u0219i propun\u0103 s\u0103 fie exhaustiv sau s\u0103 epuizeze un anumit subiect, GAP 6<\/b> prezint\u0103 o serie de proiecte \u0219i reflec\u021bii teoretice care fac vizible:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Discursuri marginalizate asupra orient\u0103rii sexuale \u0219i a identit\u0103\u021bii de gen, abordate dintr-o perspectiv\u0103 care se pozi\u021bioneaz\u0103 critic \u00een raport cu discursul mainstream<\/i> heteronormativ.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Critica reprezent\u0103rilor publice consumiste care privilegiaz\u0103 imaginea\u00a0hiper-sexualizat\u0103 a \u201efemeii-accesoriu\u201d, vizibil\u0103 doar dac\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i exhib\u0103 sexualitatea.<\/p>\n

In the Western world of the 20th<\/sup> century, the feminist and sexual revolutions paved the way for the liberation movements of sexual and gender minorities. Women\u2019s place in society, sexuality, gender identity and sexual orientation are all reevaluated and redefined from new, emancipating perspectives. Within feminist movements, as well as within those for LGBT rights, one can notice the development of radical left-wing positions based on intersectionality, which aim to connect the struggle for women\u2019s rights and for sexual and gender minorities with anti-racist and anti-capitalist positions.<\/p>\n

In Romania, feminist ideas surfaced in the 19th<\/sup> century, but in the absence of a powerful, radical feminist movement, women\u2019s place in society has continued to be violently regulated by patriarchal structures even after 1989. At the same time, the public presence of LGBT communities is still in its infancy, in a period of coagulating identities and resisting multiple forms of oppression and exclusion in a context where homosexuality was only decriminalized in 2001.<\/p>\n

For the most part, the current cultural-artistic scene reproduces the mainstream discourses on gender and sexuality, and representations remain mostly anchored in a sexist and heteronormative reality.<\/p>\n

Issue #6 of the Gazeta<\/b> de Art\u0103 Politic\u0103 <\/b>investigates artistic projects and theoretical approaches on the position of women, gay sexuality and gender identity, analyzed in a queer feminist key originating in left-wing political thought. This issue focuses on Romania, where the feminist and queer art scenes are starting to take shape.<\/p>\n

Without aiming to cover all aspects of a certain topic, GAP #6<\/b> brings to the forefront a series of projects and theoretical reflections which make visible:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Marginalized discourses on sexual orientation and gender identity, approached from an angle which is critical of mainstream heteronormative discourses;<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The critique of public, consumerist representations which privilege the hyper-sexualized image of the \u201cwoman-as-appendage\u201d, visible only if she displays her sexuality;<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sexual education from a feminist perspective;<\/p>\n
