\u00centr-un moment \u00een care martorii\/ supravie\u0163uitorii regimu\u00adrilor fasciste\/ naziste, at\u00e2t \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, c\u00e2t \u015fi \u00een Europa, sunt tot mai \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103 \u0219i devin tot mai pu\u021bini, ne propunem s\u0103 discut\u0103m despre aceast\u0103 perioad\u0103 a istoriei recente pentru a \u00een\u0163elege prezentul. Pentru c\u0103:<\/p>\n

– deciziile luate \u00een perioada respectiv\u0103 ne afecteaz\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een prezent.<\/p>\n

– exist\u0103 o continuitate \u00eentre institu\u021biile \u0219i structurile repre\u00adsive ale regimului fascist \u0219i cele de ast\u0103zi.<\/p>\n

– analiza structurilor \u0219i mi\u0219c\u0103rilor de rezisten\u021b\u0103 anti-fascist\u0103 ne poate oferi modele de \u00een\u021belegere \u0219i de ac\u021biune politic\u0103.<\/p>\n

– contextul actual al crizei capitalismului semi-periferic local d\u0103 na\u0219tere la excluziuni, segreg\u0103ri, dinamici sociale similare cu cele din perioada interbelic\u0103.<\/p>\n

– rasismul \u0219i stigmatizarea unor grupuri etnice \u0219i sociale au atins \u00een ultimii ani cote alarmante \u00een discursul pub\u00adlic \u0219i \u00een practica autorit\u0103\u021bilor \u2013 de la violen\u021ba anti-romi, p\u00e2n\u0103 la culpabilizarea unor \u00eentregi categorii, precum \u201es\u0103racii\u201d sau \u201epensionarii\u201d.<\/p>\n

Analiza acestor dinamici nu este \u0219i nu trebuie s\u0103 fie numai obiectul istoricilor, ci al tuturor persoanelor preocupate de construirea unei societ\u0103\u021bi mai juste \u0219i mai echitabile.<\/p>\n

O re\u0163ea interna\u021bional\u0103 de cercet\u0103toare\/ri independente\/ \u021bi a organizat, \u00een octombrie 2014, \u00een Bucure\u0219ti, un atelier pentru a crea contextul unor dezbateri reale, \u00eendelungi \u0219i necesare: Nationalism, Fascism and the Holocaust in Ro\u00admanian History: A Critical Approach. <\/b>Majoritatea textelor din num\u0103rul 8 al Gazetei de Art\u0103 Politic\u0103 <\/b>a rezultat \u00een urma atelierului respectiv.<\/p>\n

At a time when survivors or witnesses of Fascist\/Nazi regimes, both in Romania and in Europe, are getting older and fewer, we aim to discuss this period in recent history in order to understand the present. The reasons for that are manifold:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The decisions taken during that period affect our lives today<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There is a continuity between the repressive structures and institutions of the Fascist regime and those od today<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The analysis of anti-fascist struggles and movements might offer us models of political cooperation and action<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The current context of the crisis of semi-peripheral local capitalism breeds exclusion, segregation and overall similar social dynamics to those of the interwar years<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The racism and stigmatization of ethnic and social groups have reached alarming levels in public discourse and institutional practice these in recent years \u2013 from anti-Roma violence to the stigmatization of entire social categories such as \u201cthe poor\u201d and \u201cthe pensioners\u201d<\/p>\n

The analysis of these dynamics is not and should not be only the object of historians, but of all those concerned with building a fairer, more equal society.<\/p>\n

An international network of independent researchers organized a workshop in October 2014 in Bucharest, in order to create a context for more substantial debate on the issue: Nationalism, Fascism and the Holocaust in Ro\u00admanian History: A Critical Approach. <\/b>Most of the texts in issue 8 of the GAP <\/b>are a result of this workshop.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
