I\u2019m a humble person. Still, I imagine the house of the future like this: bedroom, dining room, hall, kitchen, a terrace with window shades and flowers. A flower garden in front of the house. All built on the ground. The rooms will have big windows. I\u2019m against air conditioning which only blows the dust. Regardless of how far this future is, the important thing is to breathe clean air. I have the cult of clean air, of clear sky. The cleaning will be done by different machines, but is important for the people to be present, to be kind, and to love each other. There will be no more money and so we\u2019ll return to past. I mean there will be an exchange based economy, like in antiquity. You give a bunch of onions for a hen. People will no longer use machines for transportation, but wings, they will fly with their own wings. There will be a focus on physical activities, on excursions; the relationship with nature will be very important. The human relationship with animals will stay the same, there will be dogs and cats around us. There will be farmers, and also intellectuals which will benefit the performance of the machines. Of course, we\u2019ll have computers, mobile phones and others. But hand writing, for old time sakes, will not vanish!<\/p>\n

The house of the future: maximal convenience, minimal spending, original aesthetics. The houses, in the middle of nature, surrounded by fruit trees, firs, flowers, vegetable gardens. The house will rotate after the sun. Many windows. It will be useful to have an enclosed area for domestic animals: birds, cows, sheep, goats. In the vicinity of the house should be a water pool, refreshed from time to time. The pool should be surrounded with sand so that you can sunbathe. In the house the future specialized robots will do 100 percent of the chores.<\/p>\n

If an intruder should brake in, a SMS will be send to the owner. There will be a tablet from which the inhabitant will control the light and ambient temperature. From the same tablet he or she will be able to start the oven and program the cooking time and temperatures. The blinds will also be controlled from the tablet. The tablet will signal any malfunctions in the plumbings or other home equipment. In case of a blackout, a generator will automatically kick in and be able to deliver electricity for up to 48 hours. Folding beds will help extend the living area. All the things necessary for living, food, clothes etc, will be delivered to the house. All the payments will be made, automatically, in the bank account. After the colonization of the moon, the apartments will be mono-cellular. A sort of capsules with rooms. Thus, the block of flats with tens of levels will disappear. These capsules will be surrounded by green space and flowers.<\/p>\n

I see the house of tomorrow installed in a space ship. It will be part of a space colonization program. We will use the robots more and more. Holographic projections will replace the television. The living room will be more functional. Instead of windows we\u2019ll have portholes. The house entirely will be like an interactive module of person oriented design.<\/p>\n

For heating system it will be used either photo voltaic panels or wind turbine. For ecological reasons. Instead of keys, a device like a remote that can be used to open any door, the radio, the TV, the fridge or even a way in which any of these to recognize the owner\u2019s voice in order to control them. That will improve accessibility of elder or impaired persons. In the kitchen the refrigerator will have a TV set incorporated so that you can cook and watch a match or a movie in the same time.<\/p>\n
Another device it will be one that will shut down automatically if you leave the room, if in danger or I during an earthquake. All the faucets, all the appliances should be controlled with a remote or by voice. Similar, a way for transportation for disabled people.<\/p>\n

Given all the misfortunes of this world, we all will become little angels and will fly into space. The habitat conditions there will be entirely special. Until the end of the world we\u2019ll have approximately 2000 years in which our way of living will have as a main purpose lowering the physical effort through automation. It will depend on us, people, if estrangement phenomenon will develop. If so, the house of the future will be formed from a series of individualized rooms, for each one by their taste. The incidence of inter-familial conflicts will rise. From a utopian perspective, we can hope to a better collaboration between people through a common involvement in maintaining automation systems. Automation will resolve issues regarding transportation, but also problems of subsistence using the most efficient methods of food supply. Keeping optimal condition for house ventilation. The micro-climate will be automated and non-polluting. Gardens will be even more plentiful. If the Messiah will come, there will be no complains for sure.<\/p>\n

The house of the future will be a special one. At the entrance buttons will help us to control that we need. This will be a period of automation when robots will make all the household chores. People will fly in their electric cars that charges from outlets. Children will study using computers and laptops. The houses will be round in such way that you can see in all directions. On the rooftop one could build gardens of flowers, with benches where one could enjoy the chill of the evening.<\/p>\n

We focus on a mechanized future. The robots will serve us. It will be enough to press a button for any task. It\u2019s a beautiful future. The people will be more intelligent, the children will be very intelligent.<\/p>\n
The food will be brought home by the robots. They will make all the shopping, while people will study and take care of the babies. No one will cook or prepare the meals anymore, they will rest. But jobs will still remain and the robots will be a sort of help, they will replace the janitors.<\/p>\n
Jobs will be highly paid and the work day will have only six hours.<\/p>\n
There is the possibility to be ruled by the robots, but that won\u2019t suit us. I think in time we won\u2019t be the only leaders. The point is that no one should bust his or hers back working.<\/p>\n
The houses will have very large gardens, like in Long Island. Only houses with gardens. Some rooms, not like in a flat only one or two, but by each one needs. The bathroom and the kitchen will be automated. You\u2019ll tell the robot what has to do and it will do it. In general, the main purpose is for everyone to have an easier living. And there will be no homelessness. Each state will take care of all citizens.<\/p>\n
That will happen in about 100 years.<\/p>\n
And finally, as a research question: will banks still exist, will people own billions?<\/p>\n

I have two directions: one in which I imagine I stand in an armchair which has all the components very mobile in such way that all buttons that control ergonomics are within my reach. But that\u2019s not the point, the idea is that I sit in this armchair, in a living room which I imagine as a regular one, but if I want to be surrounded by a pine forest I press a button and all the room walls fills with pines swaying by the gentle blow of the wind and, eventually, I sense the smells of the forest. I wish for a lily orchard, or at the sea side, or I wish to travel in the outer space. I imagine some sort of programs, some laser hardware or anything else which, when I sit in my armchair, will make me feel the see breeze, or to see myself floating between stars. This images will be at least 3D. I think this will happen in 70 to 80 years.<\/p>\n
The second direction refers to a greater independence of the house from the municipality grid. Firs, and most important, is to cut of the gas usage. Heating and cooking will only be done using electricity. This way gas pipes will only be used on industrial platforms. There will be no more this network of pipes that are costly and very dangerous. All electronics will be wireless. I can\u2019t imagine what will happen with the water. Maybe from on site wells, but that means some large water purifier.<\/p>\n
